Changes compared to TM44 1.11
- Quad is Back: In 1.11, the 4xPWMM was removed to make room for the ‘high-frequency’ PWM option, but the impression is that many people were still using the 4xPWMM. With some extra adjustments, it turns out to be possible to combine both. In fact, in 1.20 you not only have 2x, 4x, and 32x at your disposal, but also 8x and 16x. The single version has been permanently removed.
- Compatibility with TM-H Double Power (see below).
- Reading settings: It has been planned for a long time, but it is now also possible to read the configuration of the TM44. To read parameters, you need DinamoConfig 1.22 or later.
Compatibility with TM-H
If you combine the TM44 with the TM-H in one system, only the following combinations will work:
- TM-H 5.20 and TM44 1.20
- TM-H 5.11 and TM44 1.11
- TM-H 5.00 and TM44 1.00
Other combinations may cause unpredictable effects.
DinamoConfig compatibility
To make the most of all possibilities, you should use at least DinamoConfig 1.22
Double Power
The TM-H has the capability to deliver Double Power. This involves combining two consecutive blocks into a single block with double the power. Double Power is mainly interesting for LGB riders. For other scales, this need only arises in extreme cases.
The TM44 does not support Double Power, but TM-Hs in Double Power can be combined in one system with TM-Hs in Single Power and TM44 modules (Single Power), provided the firmware versions are at least TM-H 5.20 and TM44 1.20.
