  • Provided the correct RM-U version is used, the TM44 is now recognized by the RM-U as half a TM-H. Two TM44s can now also be controlled per TM-H/UCCI-s module address. To distinguish between them, the TM44s have both a module address (0..15) and a sub-address (0/1).
  • A TM44 with sub-address 1 is only recognized and registered if a TM44 with sub-address 0 is active on the same module address.
  • A TM44 with sub-address 0 automatically “pairs” with a TM44 with sub-address 1 if both modules have the same module address. A TM44 with sub-address 0 that cannot form a “pair” with a TM44 with sub-address 1 functionally behaves like a TM-H, where blocks 4..7 and sensors 16..127 are simulated.
  • A TM44 with sub-address 0 occupies blocks (8M+0)..(8M+3) (M=Module address) and reports sensors (8M+0)..(8M+15).
  • A TM44 with sub-address 1 occupies blocks (8M+4)..(8M+7) (M=Module address) and reports sensors (8M+64)..(8M+79).

Address settings

  • The module address is set on the TM44 using dip switches 2..5.
  • The sub-address is set on the TM44 using dip switch 1.

Consult the PDF explanation or TM44 manual 1.0 for the address table. Address settings only become active after restarting the TM44 module.
