DTG stands for DinaSys Turntable Gateway. The DTG is essentially a translation module that allows you to control a DTC-driven turntable using protocols that the DTC itself doesn’t understand.
The DTG software is still very much under development. However, don’t let that stop you from using the DTG if its available features meet your needs. The DTG is equipped with a “bootloader,” so you can add new features yourself as soon as they become available.
The first version of the DTG is now available in 2 versions:

DTG with CAN, RS485, USB, and DCC interface

DTG with CAN and RS485 interface

The DTG with Firmware 1.0 offers turntable control via the Draai15 protocol:

Via a DCC input on the DTG.

By connecting the DTG to a USB port.

By connecting the DTG as an OC32 to an existing OC32-RS485 bus.

By connecting the DTG as an OC32 to an existing Dinamo-RS485 bus.

On the DTG, you’ll find 4 optocoupler outputs that the DTG uses to report the status of your turntable back to your control system. To use this, you need to connect a DTG output to a feedback module on your system.
When you connect the DTG to a USB port, this USB port can emulate a U485 + OC32. In other words: it works as if you’ve connected an OC32 to your PC via a U485. However, you can also immediately connect OC32s to the RS485 interface on the DTG. Anything not intended for the DTG itself is forwarded onto the RS485 bus.
For the (near) future, we envision additional possibilities:

Controlling a turntable as a normal DTC, but via the DTG. At first glance, this might not seem very useful, but it can be a great solution if your turntable is located far from your control system and you would otherwise have to use an extremely long USB cable. With the DTG, you connect the DTG to your PC with a short USB cable and use a long CAN-bus cable to reach your DTC.

Controlling the turntable with protocols other than Draai15.

Controlling multiple DTC turntables via the DTG over a single interface.

You can configure the DTG using DTCnewConfig Version 1.2 or later. Via the menu item “Window->DTG” in the top menu, you can open an additional window called DTG. This is a more or less standalone part of the application that allows you to connect to the DTG and set various parameters.

[261
post-4359","firmware","type-firmware","status-publish","hentry","firmware-producten-actueel-dtc
["GET
